# Organizations

> View and switch organizations.

An organization owns your agents, customers, plans, and invoices, and sets the currency everything is billed in.

## `paygent org current`

Show the active organization.

paygent org current
```

> **Warning**
>
> The organization's currency overrides every currency in a pricing document. If prices come back wrong, check this before editing pricing again.

## `paygent org list`

```bash
paygent org list
```

## `paygent org switch`

Change your active organization. This applies server-side, so it takes effect everywhere you are signed in.

paygent org switch "Acme Inc"
```

To point one machine at a different organization without switching globally, use `--org` on a single command or set it per profile:

paygent agent list --org 68b2c1a4f0e1d2c3b4a59687
paygent config set --profile default org_id 68b2c1a4f0e1d2c3b4a59687
```

## `paygent org update`

```bash
paygent org update --timezone America/New_York
```

Only timezone and invoice settings can be changed. Name, country, and currency are fixed at creation.
