Forecasting (Beta)

See projected revenue, cost, and margin for your agents over the next 30, 60, or 90 days. Forecasting extends your recent run-rate forward from today (UTC) — useful for planning, not as a financial guarantee.

Beta feature. Forecasting is enabled per organization. If you don’t see the tab on an agent, contact Paygent to turn it on. Numbers are directional estimates and work best when you have steady usage history.

Where to find it

LocationPath
DashboardAgents → pick an agent → Forecasting tab
Admin (Paygent team)Admin → Agents → agent detail → Forecasting (includes holdout backtest validation)

Three view modes

Use the toggle at the top of the forecasting panel. Default is Agent total.

ModeWhat you seeCustomer picker
Agent totalThis agent across all customers in your orgNo
Customer totalOne customer across all agents + per-agent tableYes
One customerThis agent with one customer onlyYes

Reading the panel

  • Horizon — 30, 60, or 90 days from today. Summary cards show total and daily average for that window.
  • Cumulative chart — actual history plus projected continuation. Check last data day and active days in the subtitle.
  • Custom date range — blend actuals and forecast for any range (future capped at history + 36 months).

How it works (simple)

  1. Pull recent daily revenue and cost from your billing and usage data.
  2. Weight recent days more than older ones.
  3. Apply a small growth factor from the trend.
  4. Project forward from today (UTC) for the horizon you chose.

Beta limitations:

  • Estimates only — pricing or usage changes may not be fully reflected.
  • Needs billing history — new agents or customers may show empty forecasts.
  • Dates use UTC, not your local timezone.
  • Holdout backtest is admin-only; not available in the customer dashboard.
